About this Workshop:

2024 marks the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac. Known for their power, wisdom, and success, the year of the dragon is considered a year of transformation, growth, and abundance. In this short form class, you will learn how to carve and print using soft easy-carve relief blocks and a template design featuring the wood dragon. Because everyone carves and makes marks differently in relief work, the fun will be in sharing how unique each person’s final print is compared to the template you started from. Best of all, you’ll have learned all the basic techniques to continue creating prints using your own designs after the class is over!

Level: Beginner – No experience necessary, just join us for lots of inky fun.

Registration closes January 16, 2024 and includes all materials.

  • A pencil and eraser
  • A notebook if you want to take notes
