Women’s History Month Edition!
Come out for a fun evening to see what letterpress is all about! This month we’re celebrating Women’s History Month. You’ll get an overview of the letterpress process then get a chance to experience printing mini posters your typeset yourself on our proofing presses. At the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a small edition of mini posters you printed yourself. Perfect to keep or share with friends as gifts.
Level: Beginner – no experience necessary!
Registration closes March 12, 2024 and includes all materials.
Registration includes all materials—just come ready to have fun! In addition, you may want to bring the following optional items for class:
Sara Blumberg loves creating designs through all aspects of letterpress printing. She fell in love with the art after taking an introductory printing class at Pyramid two years ago. During the day Sara works as a design and content strategist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. focusing on ocean missions. Most evenings you can find her making new designs or trying new color combinations in the studio. Before letterpress, Sara worked as a journalist in Baltimore.
