About this Workshop:
Learn to make trays and boxes for the fun of it! In this class, students will learn from a kit while being shown the principles of box making. Covering the box and its parts with decorative paper makes each box unique.
Level: Beginner – no experience necessary!
Registration closes February 23, 2022 to allow time for students to gather/purchase any needed supplies for class. Materials fees are included with your registration to cover items provided in class, including board, glue, and decorative papers.

CLASS MATERIALS LIST:
Registration includes a materials fee of $8, which covers all of the materials—just come ready to have fun! In addition, you may want to bring the following optional items for class:
- Decorative papers from your personal stash
- A glue brush
- Ruler
- Any 2D or 3D decorative elements to embellish your box, such as stickers, ribbon, tiny animals, dice, etc.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Book artist Linda Rollins is passionate about all aspects of the book arts and enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge of binding and repair techniques to students of all levels. She has been a book conservator since the mid-1990s, and was proprietor of Capella Book Arts.
