Current Health and Safety Policies for In-Studio Workshops
(Updated September 19, 2022): Pyramid values the health and wellbeing of our artists, teachers, students, staff, and visitors. At this time, we are shifting to a “masks optional but encouraged” policy for its public spaces. Some exceptions: 1) If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask; 2) If you have been exposed to Covid-19, wear a mask for 10 days after exposure; If you have tested positive, STAY HOME and follow current CDC guidelines for isolation and mask wearing (https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2022/p0811-covid-guidance.html_). Please be supportive of our staff and other guests who choose to mask up for their (or your) benefit, and be willing to don a mask if you are working in close proximity to someone who requests it.
Taking an in-person class at Pyramid has potential for close physical contact between students and teachers. As part of our commitment to providing a safe work environment and reducing the potential exposure or transmission of Covid-19, students participating in in-person workshops must still provide 1) proof of an up-to-date vaccination status on the first day of class, including any booster dose(s) when eligible or 2) proof of recent negative Covid-19 test results (within 72 hrs). If you are unable to provide these documents when checking in for class, please contact the front desk for a health screening questionnaire and be prepared to wear a mask for your class session.
The CDC has guidelines on what “up-to-date” means and Pyramid will follow those recommendations when checking vaccine cards. Please note that Pyramid does not keep health records on individuals and you will be asked to show your proof of vaccination at the start of each workshop. Pyramid will offer a full refund to anyone at any time if they feel unwell or that they may put others at risk of exposure.
Please contact us with any additional questions or concerns.
