About this Workshop:

Ready to take your printmaking skills to the next level? If you’ve taken Mixed Media Printmaking with us, or have previous monotype printing experience and want to learn new techniques or want more practice, this is your workshop! We will start out reviewing methods covered in the introductory level of Mixed Media Printmaking, such as additive and subtractive monotype processes, trace monotypes, and masking with stencils, then move on to more advanced methods of creating imagery with the use of pressure printing, chine collé, cropping and collage. Bring your old and/or unfinished prints and learn ways to put the finishing touches on them!

Level: Advanced – Requires prerequisite experience: Introduction to Mixed Media Printmaking (6-hr workshop, previously titled Mixed Media Printmaking I) or similar experience with monotype printmaking.

Registration closes January 25, 2022 and includes a materials fee to cover supplies provided in class. Students will need to gather/purchase additional materials as well.
