PYRAMID ATLANTIC GOES SCI-FI
ART PARTY/FUNDRAISER CELEBRATES MAY THE FOURTH
(Hyattsville, MD) Pyramid Atlantic’s HyBall (Hyattsville Ball) … has gone intergalactic! The HyBall offers plenty of opportunities for out-of-this-world fun while also raising money to support Pyramid’s studios and programming.
HyBall: Pyramid Galactic takes place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 8pm -11ish. Tickets are $45 and include complimentary beer and wine. Tickets at pyramidatlanticartcenter.org or by calling 301-608-9101. Pyramid Atlantic is located at 4318 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville Maryland 20781.
Attendees can orbit around Pyramid’s studios to make their own Star Wars themed propaganda posters, rebel alliance patches, Darkside paper, and more while enjoying sci-fi inspired Harp sets from Harpist Anna Ellsworth. In the gallery will be stellar finds in the Mandalorian Emporium art show and silent auction, a Disco Star Wars Dance party with DJ P.Vo, and performances that rival those at Jabba’s Palace from Miss Saturn. An event poster by outlaw printmaker Sean Starwars, photo ops, treats inspired by Princess Leia’s hot buns, and other surprises await!
In addition to celebrating Pyramid Atlantic via an incredible art party, the event brings together the unique, the local, and the handmade. Tickets include complimentary beer from local breweries Franklins and Streetcar 82, and sweet treats from Mastiha Bakery and Potomac Sweets. Plus, for an additional donation, signature cocktails include the Blue Cantina, which features gin from local distillery Sangfroid.
