November 11, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

In our November in-person mini-workshop, you’ll learn how to transform old or discarded books into sculptural works of art. Through scoring, folding and cutting, you’ll learn how to make a variety of different shapes and sizes of playful sculptures.

Bring a book (or 5!) and join us for this fun evening! No experience necessary. Members only.

IN-STUDIO HEALTH and SAFETY NOTICE:

As of September 10, 2021—Pyramid values the health and wellbeing of our artists, teachers, students, staff, and visitors. At this time, we are choosing to remain more conservative than many local ordinances.

Taking an in-person class at Pyramid has potential for close physical contact between the students and teachers. As part of our commitment to providing a safe work environment and reducing the potential exposure or transmission of Covid-19, we request that before class you provide either proof of vaccination (show your physical card or a photo of your card on your phone) or proof of recent (within 72 hrs) negative Covid-19 test results. If you are unable to provide these documents, please contact us for a health screening questionnaire. This questionnaire will also be provided upon arrival for any who may forget their documentation. Pyramid will offer a full refund to anyone at any time if they feel unwell or that they may put others at risk of exposure.

Masks are required at all times while in the building, unless you need to drink (mask off, sip, mask back on). Food consumption is prohibited in the studios at this time – if you need a snack or bring a lunch, please make use of the bench/chairs on the front sidewalk or our small table on the back patio. If you bring food, we do have a refrigerator and microwave that are available for your use.

Sanitation stations are located throughout the building to assist in keeping surfaces clean, and complimentary hand sanitizer is offered in addition to the traditional soap and water found in our restrooms. We are also happy to provide disposable gloves and masks to anyone who has a need.

IF YOU ARE FEELING UNWELL:

Please stay at home. We continue to offer flexible options for students who need to miss a class due to health concerns, possible exposure, and/or actual illness. Contact us any time leading up to the start of class to cancel your session.
