PYRAMID ATLANTIC MAKES IT POP!
May 6th “POP” Themed Art Party & Fundraiser
(Hyattsville, MD) Pyramid Atlantic’s HyBall (Hyattsville Ball) … is bursting at the seams! The HyBall offers plenty of opportunities for explosive fun while also raising money to support Pyramid’s facility and programming.
HyBall: Make it Pop! takes place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 8pm -11ish. Tickets are $40 and include complimentary beer and wine. Tickets at pyramidatlanticartcenter.org or by calling 301-608- 9101. Pyramid Atlantic is located at 4318 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville Maryland 20781.
Pyramid’s studios will be popping with hands-on fun. Attendees can circulate around and make pop star coasters, mix tape prints, pop-up cards, and 3-D silkscreens. Pop music covers will be played by singer/songwriter Nila Kay and DJ Stylus will whip up a 70/80s pop dance party. Pop-up, pop-star performances throughout the night feature drag diva Shi-Queeta-Lee and more. A snappy silent auction, explosive cocktails, pop-themed treats, and photo ops round out this highly anticipated art party.
In addition to offering fun, the event celebrates the unique, the local, and the handmade. Tickets include complimentary beer from local brewery Streetcar 82, wine from Hyattsville’s own Franklins, and poppable treats from Shortcake Bakery and Potomac Sweets. Plus, for an additional donation, a signature “Poptail” features gin from local distillery Sangfroid.
