Zoom+Make: Subtractive Monotypes

June 22, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$40.00

An Online Workshop!

Wednesday, June 22, 7-9pm ET via Zoom

About this Workshop:

Monotype is any form of printmaking that results in a unique, one-off print. It offers the printmaker a very direct way to transfer an image from a plate and presents by its very nature a limitless potential to experiment with rich color and mark making. In this Zoom+Make, you will learn how to remove the light areas of the composition, which will result in an illuminated and rich print.

Level: All levels welcome – no experience necessary!

Registration closes June 12, 2022 to allow time for students to gather/purchase their materials. With your registration confirmation you’ll receive the full materials list (with helpful links) to purchase your items, any initial handouts about the process, as well as a quick 1-page “how-to” guide to using the Zoom video app.
