Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, 12-3pm ET via Zoom
Join us for an exciting two-day exploration of folding trays and collapsible boxes, a masu box and small booklet assembly with this Zhen Xian Bao hardcover sampler project. This is a great way to mix and match papers and play with an adaptive and fun book structure. The hardcover book houses all your folded explorations and when completed could be used as a travel case for pencils, paper, collages, postage stamps, photos and other small art or craft supplies.
Level: Intermediate – Basic bookmaking skills, including knowledge of paper grain, gluing paper to board and folding, is recommended.
Registration closes March 25, 2025. Students will need to gather/purchase all materials for class (see the materials list below). The detailed list will also be provided with the registration confirmation email.
Please Note: The online session will be recorded for Pyramid Atlantic’s private use to better optimize our programming and share as examples for funders. You may mute your microphone or turn off your camera if you do not wish to be recorded. Access to the recording(s) will be made available to all participants for a limited time.
Note: This class will involve a lot of paper folding. All paper and board noted below will need to be cut to size and ready ahead of class start time.
Registration does not include any provided materials. Students will need to gather/purchase their own supplies for class. The full supply list is available below and will be included in the confirmation email with some additional recommended resources.
