Saturday, April 16, 10am-4pm
Create simple, bold greeting cards with wood type. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of working with wood type on a Vandercook press—from locking up type, registering paper, inking the rollers and pulling prints. Each student will choose one message to print, and we’ll all work together to print designs that we can trade at the end.
Level: Beginner – no experience necessary!
Registration extended to April 13, 2022 and includes all materials.
Registration includes a $12 materials fee to cover consumable materials provided in class, including paper, envelopes and ink. Students may want to consider bringing a few optional items of their own, including:
