Trolley Trail Day!

Join us for a day of inky fun and make some Franken-Bikes with us! This community event will host several Hyattsville businesses and organizations, including Pyramid Atlantic. The Hyattsville Hub is at Melrose Skatepark this year – a local skatepark along the Trolley Trail in the Hyattsville Arts District located at 4666 Rhode Island Ave.

Activities will occur throughout the day from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., along the entirety of the 3.8 mile-stretch of the Trolley Trail. Learn more:

The event is free for everyone; we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate with us.

The Trolley Trail is a 3.8-mile-long trail that is a recreational and transportation asset – it can also become even more of an economic driver than it is today.  By linking the downtowns and commercial areas of the three Baltimore Avenue Corridor communities, the Trolley Trail serves as a convenient connection between our communities.  It is directly connected to the Anacostia River Trail System and Capital Trails Network, a premier regional system of bicycle and pedestrian trails in the DMV.  Serving the communities of Hyattsville, Riverdale Park and College Park, the Prince George’s Department of Parks and Recreation (M-NCPPC) coordinated development of the Trolley Trail and remains a supporting partner with the Baltimore Avenue communities.  Through events like Trolley Trail Day, we can become a greater destination for residents and out-of-town cyclists alike to explore our restaurants, breweries, and shops.
