YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Jeana Foley is a lifelong maker and an art historian by training whose career at the Smithsonian led her to work as an exhibition researcher, writer and assistant curator of photography. Parenthood led her to combine her creative interests through teaching first to young audiences in her son’s schools and now in book arts and screen printing classes at Pyramid.  After being a long time volunteer at Pyramid, Jeana trained in the Apprentice program during 2019 and greatly appreciated the opportunity to work in depth on her book arts skills and gain invaluable inspiration from Pyramid’s encouraging environment.  Behind the scenes, Jeana wields both hammers and databases to coordinate Pyramid’s gallery exhibitions.

“Well-paced, so many activities, and the supply packet was amazing.”—Attendee, Jolly Holiday Pop-Ups workshop with Jeana Foley
