About this Workshop:

During this 4-day workshop students will learn about the various techniques, styles, and tools of the printmaking trade through several demonstrations and hands-on activities. With a focus on relief processes, like linocuts, and monotype printing, students will have the opportunity to create prints featuring structured line work as well as stand alone, almost painterly works. Students will also have the opportunity to combine both elements in a number of different ways, providing a variety of opportunities for students to uniquely express themselves.

At the end of the workshop, students will have a basic understanding of how to properly use the equipment, including Pyramid’s professional printmaking presses, and operate in a functioning community print studio. Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about becoming certified and using the studio independently beyond the class.

Registration closes June 12, 2026 and includes all necessary materials. Students are responsible for providing their own lunch. Additional details and options will be provided at registration.

Please Note This is a skills building class with each day building on what was learned the day before. Our class capacity is limited to ensure everyone has ample one-on-one time with the instructor. Please be sure you can commit to the full 4-day workshop before signing up. If you have questions, please let us know!
