Join us for an open studio “Happy Hour,” a hands-on, open studio session providing space to work independently with access to supplies (including the presses) in the interest of learning and practice. A Printmaking Associate will be on hand to answer questions, help you set the press, and offer guidance for intaglio, relief printing, and lithography projects. Certification is required in addition to your RSVP. Press reservations are available on a first come, first served basis.
Happy Hour registrations close at 12pm noon the day of the session. To check about last minute openings/accommodations, call: 301-608-9101. No walk-ins will be accepted. If you are planning to print, remember to bring your own paper and newsprint.
Please note: Happy Hours are open studio sessions intended for practicing your skills and working independently among other members. Happy Hours are not suitable for one-to-one instruction. For one-to-one lessons, please visit the section on Individual Instruction.
