In this workshop, we’ll explore a painterly screenprinting method using drawing fluid and screen filler. This easily accessible technique allows for a quick and direct approach to creating a printable image that is relatively inexpensive, and this technique is something you can continue exploring at home without needing a darkroom or photo emulsion. The imagery is painted directly on the screen, then the screen is coated with screen filler and dried, and then the original image is washed out, creating a stencil to run ink through.
Level: Beginner – no experience necessary
