About this Workshop:
Come try a painterly approach to screenprinting! We will use acrylic paints on a silkscreen to create immediate and colorful monoprints. Bring an image or an idea in mind, and be ready to experiment!
Level: Beginner – no experience necessary!
Registration closes November 16, 2025 and includes all materials.

CLASS MATERIALS LIST:
Registration includes all necessary supplies for class. In addition, students may want to consider bringing the following materials:
- (optional) Personal apron (we’ll have extras) or wear clothes that can get inky
- (optional) Pencil and paper/sketchbook for working out ideas and taking notes
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Josh Kery is an interdisciplinary artist working in screenprint, textiles, and code, with a background in Fine Arts and Human Computer Interaction. He has exhibited solo at the Frame Gallery in Pittsburgh, exhibited collaboratively at MuseumLab and the Fabric Workshop and Museum, and performed at the Pennsylvania Center for Women in Politics and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill’s Process Series. Josh earned his BFA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2020. Raised in Boston, he currently lives in Washington, DC, where he works as a freelance designer, developer and content manager, frequently for Richard Lewis Media Group and Remake Learning Days.
