About this Workshop:
In this short-form workshop, you will learn how to carve and print your own holiday design using soft linoleum blocks. We will keep holiday and seasonal themes in mind, but ultimately the design is up to you. No homework, and no experience necessary—just join us for lots of inky fun!
Level: Beginner – no previous experience necessary
Registration closes November 12, 2025 and includes all materials.

CLASS MATERIALS LIST:
Registration includes all materials including ink, paper and carving blocks. In addition, you may want to consider bringing the following items to class:
- (optional) Personal apron (we’ll have extras) or wear clothes that can get inky
- (optional) Notebook or sketchbook to take notes
- (optional) A few ideas/a small sketch for your card design (about 4”x5”).
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Korey Richardson is a mixed media artist from Prince George’s County, Maryland. He earned a BA from the University of Maryland College Park. His practice includes printmaking, painting, installations, and murals. He has exhibited work throughout the DC metropolitan area where he currently lives and works.
