About this Workshop:
Season’s Greetings! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we invite you to craft your very own paper ornaments! In this class, you’ll learn to create two unique designs: the 3D Paper Orb and the Wheel of Fortune. With a wide selection of decorative papers at your fingertips, you’ll create one-of-a-kind ornaments.
Level: Beginner – No experience needed—just bring your holiday cheer!
Registration extended to December 15, 2025 and all materials are provided.

CLASS MATERIALS LIST:
Registration includes all materials—just come ready to have fun! In addition, you may want to bring the following optional items for class:
- (optional) Personal apron or smock (we’ll have extras)
- (optional) Notebook and pen if you’d like to take notes.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Krista Sharp, a native Oklahoman and a member of the Cherokee Nation, has lived and worked in the Washington, D.C. area for over 23 years. She is a book artist and an award-winning graphic and web designer currently working at the Smithsonian Institution. In 2016, Krista graduated from Corcoran School of Art and Design with a Master of Arts degree in Art and the Book. Her book and print work uses multiple printmaking processes and explores unique structural elements. Krista’s art can be seen in many collections and institutions across the country including the Art Institute of Chicago’s Flaxman Library, the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, and the Smithsonian’s Dibner Library.
