About this Workshop:

Come out for a fun evening to see what letterpress is all about! This month we’re celebrating Women’s History Month. You’ll get an overview of the letterpress process then get a chance to experience printing mini posters you typeset yourself on our proofing presses. At the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a small edition of mini posters you printed yourself. Perfect to keep or share with friends as gifts. 

Level: Beginner – no experience necessary!

Registration closes March 10, 2026 and includes all materials.

CLASS MATERIALS LIST:

Registration includes all materials—just come ready to have fun! In addition, you may want to bring the following items for class:

  • (optional) Personal apron (we’ll have extras handy) and/or wear clothes that can get inky
  • (optional) Pen and paper for any note-taking
  • (optional) A quote from your favorite female hero or some other motivational phrase. Think short phrases—5-8 words—as you’ll be typesetting it one letter at a time!

Note: For your safety we also recommend short sleeves only, close-toed shoes, and that long hair be tied back.
