About this Workshop:

In this workshop participants will learn a variety of stitching and quilting techniques to create multi-layered textile pieces either as quilts or hanging wall pieces. We’ll start by creating some new printed pieces on day 1 to add to each student’s personal stash of fabrics printed in previous workshops or other fabrics of their choosing. From embroidery to applique sewing, on days 2 and 3 participants will utilize a variety of hand-quilting techniques and stitches to create textile pieces from their collection of printed fabrics.

Level: Intermediate/Beginner –  Introduction to Screenprinting or similar experience (6 hours) is required. Some experience with sewing is recommended, but not required.

Registration closes August 1, 2024. Material fees are included with your registration to cover the supplies provided in class. Students may/will need to gather/purchase additional materials for class (see the materials list below). This list will also be provided with the registration confirmation email.
