About this Workshop:
%@*& ! — This Make+Take challenges participants to come up with a favorite four-letter word using trays of random large wood type to create fun and funky posters. Each person will have a chance to create a small edition of prints with their word and the option to trade prints with others in the class.
Level: Beginner
Registration closes March 1, 2022 and includes all materials.

Registration includes all materials—just come ready to have fun! In addition, you may want to bring the following for class:
- Personal apron (or wear clothes that can get inky)
- A few ideas for your four-letter word!
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Meghan Gordon loves the tactile and improvisational aspects of letterpress printing with wood and metal type. Many of her designs are inspired by modern takes on traditional quilt patterns. She has a journalism background and lives in Hyattsville. Check out her work @keepmaking on Instagram.
