About this Workshop:

Fabric is a fantastic and flexible surface to print onto and the results can be used in a variety of ways, from creating tees, totes, and even yardage for your sewing projects. In this class specifically for teens 13-18, we’ll explore different techniques for image creation and practical tips for color and registration, all while learning how to use the tools and equipment of Pyramid’s Screenprinting Studio and Darkroom. Students will design and print their own small edition of prints on paper and/or cotton tote bags.

At the end of the workshop, students will have a basic understanding of how to properly use the equipment and operate in a functioning community print studio. Upon registration, students will be given instruction on how to start thinking about, sourcing, and/or creating their imagery.

Level: Beginner – no previous experience necessary!

Registration extended through November 25, 2024 and includes all necessary materials. Students may wish to bring additional, optional items of their own—please see the materials section below for details.
