Jim Modrick found his way into the letterpress studio of Pyramid Atlantic Art Center over five years ago, which began a shift away from a career as an arts administrator and into a journey to reconnect with applying ink to paper. That journey now includes screenprint and papermaking, but letterpress is the core. His arts administration pathway focused on arts education and supporting artists. Now Jim’s days find him overseeing federal grants from the National Park Service and thinking of his next projects involving ink and paper.
