Workshop Description:
An In-Studio Workshop!
Who says printmakers are rigid? Loosen up in this collaborative and spontaneous screenprinting workshop! Through a series of prompts and exercises, you will learn how to respond and build off of your fellow classmates’ prints. Other skills such as transparent and opaque ink mixing, color registration, and proper screen exposure, will be covered. Let’s have some fun!
Level: All levels welcome
Registration closes November 2, 2021. Material fees are included with your registration, though a small list of additional items needed will be sent with your confirmation.

Please Note (as of September 10, 2021): Pyramid values the health and wellbeing of our artists, teachers, students, staff, and visitors. At this time, we are choosing to remain more conservative than many local ordinances and require mask wearing in all public spaces in the building.
Taking an in-person class at Pyramid has potential for close physical contact between the students and teachers. As part of our commitment to providing a safe work environment and reducing the potential exposure or transmission of Covid-19, we request that on the first day of class you provide either proof of vaccination or proof of recent negative Covid-19 test results (within 72 hrs). If you are unable to provide these documents, please contact the front desk for a health screening questionnaire. Pyramid will offer a full refund to anyone at any time if they feel unwell or that they may put others at risk of exposure. Please contact us with any additional questions or concerns.
Workshop Details:
- Date and Time: Wednesday, November 10, 6pm-9pm, In-Studio at Pyramid
- Instructor: Clare Winslow
- Materials: Both registration options include a $20 materials fee to cover provided materials in class, including ink and the wood panels. Please choose whether you are bringing your own screen to class or if you’d like a new screen provided (for an additional $25 fee).Students will need to supply additional materials of their own, including:
- Personal screen (if not choosing the new screen option at registration)
- Personal apron or clothes that can get messy
- (optional) Pencil and paper for taking notes
