About this Workshop:

ArtFoamies are unique art stamps created from original art. ArtFoamies can be used to create all sorts of art, craft, and home decor projects. Join us for a hands-on workshop to show you how to print with stamping ink on paper, block printing ink on fabric, and acrylic paint on canvas. All materials will be provided in class. 

Level: All levels are welcome – no previous print experience necessary

Registration closes July 7, 2022. Material fees are included with your registration to cover the supplies provided in class. A list of additional optional items for students to consider bringing to class will be sent with the registration confirmation email.

CLASS MATERIALS LIST:

Registration includes a $20 fee for your class materials, which includes ArtFoamies stamps, ink, acrylic paint, paper, fabric, and canvas. In addition, students may want to gather the following optional items for class:

  • Personal apron
  • A notebook or sketchbook 

YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Sarah Matthews is a 2016 MA Art & the Book graduate from the Corcoran College of Arts and Design, and holds an MBA with a Marketing Concentration and BS in Sociology from Bowie State University. Matthews’ work has been exhibited nationally and is part of the permanent collections of Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, GWU’s Gelman Library, University of Puget Sound, and Samford University. Matthews is a full-time artist, teacher, & YouTuber (SARAHBEME). You can view her work at iamsarahmatthews.com.
