Family Holiday Make + Take: DIY Holiday Cards

Create your very own handmade printed greeting cards!
Grab a mug of hot cocoa and settle in for a little cottage-core. Open to all ages, these cozy winter-themed art sessions are great for the gift giving season. Work to create a unique art piece while gaining new skills. Good for families, friends, and the solo creative. These are not drop-off classes. Participants under the age of 12 must have an adult present.
First, stop by our letterpress studio to add a simple preset greeting to your cards (inside or out) using one of our presses. Then, join our card-making workshop in the gallery classroom to create your own unique stamp designs using craft foam to add a decorative twist. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own original design/pattern and print it on their cards using stamping ink. You’ll walk away with a set of 6 cards and envelopes to share!
Participants should expect to spend approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on the level of embellishment you’d like to add to your cards using markers, pencils, and a variety of other tools and materials.
Note: these are not drop-off classes, if participants are under the age of 12, they must have an adult present for the event.
$1 helper tickets for people assisting (good for parents or caregivers who don’t want to make their own).
