About this Workshop:
Part of a new 4-part series! Unlock the expressive and structural potential of line in this dynamic drawing workshop designed for artists of every level. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, this course offers a strong foundation in observational techniques while encouraging personal exploration through line.
You’ll discover how different types of linework can convey depth, movement, texture, and emotion, transforming simple sketches into powerful visual statements. Through hands-on exercises and guided practice you’ll build confidence in your drawing abilities and develop a deeper understanding of how line shapes your artistic path.
Level: Beginner—This short-form workshop is part of a series of foundational drawing classes that build on skill in succession, however they can be taken individually to inform your own skills wherever you’re at. There are no pre-requisites for any class in the series.
Registration closes September 26, 2025. Material fees are included with your registration to cover the supplies provided in class. Students may/will need to gather/purchase additional materials for class (see the materials list below). This list will also be provided with the registration confirmation email.
