Community Print: Vote!

Lauren Emeritz & Sarah Matthews are teaming up to print letterpress posters to encourage people get out and vote in the mid-term elections. Join us on Saturday, October 8th from 11 am – 3 pm to print on the Vandercook presses in the Letterpress Studio at Pyramid Atlantic. Posters will be free and available to the public starting on Sunday, October 9th during Pyramid’s open hours.

About Community Prints:
Pyramid as an organization honors the traditions of printmaking, which include promoting free speech and democracy. As long as it isn’t hate speech, we support many views and voices. The impetus and content of each Community Print comes from artists, community members, and volunteers. The printing itself uses volunteer printers under the guidance of a volunteer printmaker. The views expressed with these prints to not represent all of the community at Pyramid in the same way they do not represent all of the community in America.
