Community Print: Hispanic Heritage Month

Sunday, September 15th | 10am-2pm

Join us at Pyramid Atlantic for a special community print event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Printmaking has a long history as a powerful tool for exposing injustice, promoting democracy, and driving social change. This month, we invite the public to stop in any time between 10am and 2pm on September 15th to join our artists in printing commemorative mini posters in celebration of hispanic heritage and culture.

Let’s come together to celebrate and use art to inspire awareness and pride in our communities!

All prints will be available for FREE to the public starting Wednesday, September 18. If you wish to request quantities over 5, please email us at create@pyramid-atlantic.org.

About Community Prints:

Pyramid as an organization honors the traditions of printmaking, which include promoting free speech and democracy. As long as it isn’t hate speech, we support many views and voices. The impetus and content of each Community Print comes from artists, community members, and volunteers. The printing itself uses volunteer printers under the guidance of a volunteer printmaker. The views expressed with these prints do not represent all of the community at Pyramid in the same way they do not represent all of the community in America.
