COMMUNITY PRINT: EARTH DAY!
Sunday, April 23 | 10am-4pm
Join Pyramid artists Sara Blumberg & Elisabeth Boerwinkel for a celebration of Earth Day. Create letterpress printed posters around the importance of our planet and supporting climate legislation. Participants can pull two different prints on our Vandercook presses and take home to display or give to others.
Extra posters will be free and available to the public starting on Sunday, April 23rd during Pyramid’s open hours.
About Community Prints:
Pyramid as an organization honors the traditions of printmaking, which include promoting free speech and democracy. As long as it isn’t hate speech, we support many views and voices. The impetus and content of each Community Print comes from artists, community members, and volunteers. The printing itself uses volunteer printers under the guidance of a volunteer printmaker. The views expressed with these prints do not represent all of the community at Pyramid in the same way they do not represent all of the community in America.
