Saturday, December 9, 10am-5pm
Participants will learn how to make a Case Bound Box, or Hinged Lid Box, perfect for holding photographs, travel memories, letters, and other keepsakes. Students will learn how to assemble the box, which is similar in construction to a book cover. Students will learn to make the case-bound cover with wrapped paper and book cloth. We will make 2 boxes—a smaller 5 x 7 x 2” box and a larger 9.5 x 12.5 x 2.5” box.
Level: Intermediate – Introduction to Bookmaking or similar bookmaking experience (6 hours) is required.
Registration closes November 30, 2023. Materials fees are included with registration to cover the materials supplied in class. A small list of optional items will also be provided to students to gather/bring to class.
Registration includes a $67 materials fee to cover consumable materials provided in class, board, bookcloth, and glue. In addition, students will need to gather/purchase the following items:

A certified mindfulness meditation facilitator and advocate for the role of the arts in nurturing cognitive, social-emotional, and ethical dispositions, Nathalie believes in the power of the arts to help people slow down, notice the world around them in new ways, spark curiosity, and deepen connection with oneself and others.
